Poetry for Neanderthals

 We LOVED playing Poetry for Neanderthals! It’s kind of like taboo, but you can only use one syllable words to describe the word. If you mess up, the opposing team is allowed to hit you with the “no stick”. Gentle-ish. So fun! 

After we finished playing, our brains were kind of stuck in one syllable words. Too funny!!

Gabby’s Dollhouse closet

 My daughter loves gabby so Gabby’s Dollhouse closet  was a hit with her! She loves the different levels and using the ladder. As a four year old she struggles some with putting on some accessories and hanging them up again. I love that it closes up and contains everything well!

Hand to Hand Wombat

Seems simple enough, build a tower with cubes in ascending order. Throw in the fact that your eyes are closed, 90 seconds, and a wicked Wombat and see how simple it is now!

We enjoyed building and accusing others of sabotage.

All final results of our games were found the good wombats winning. We are interested in trying some of the variation cars in the game to see how that affects the outcome. (Confused wombat, generous wombat, etc)

The kids loved it and enjoyed sharing it with friends!

Mantis card game

 Rather than type out how to play the game again, I thought I would include a review I wrote instead.

To add to this, we love it!! My son asks to play  it almost every day with me and invites all good friends to play with him when they come over. It really is a simple concept but the chance of whatever the card might be and stealing from others makes it exciting. 

Makers of Exploding Kittens does it again!!

Plush Pets

 These are the most amazing friends! Super soft, names and birthdays to celebrate. My kids wanted to keep all 12 just for them, but we did manage to share with friends. 

Gabby’s Dollhouse

 My daughter was so excited to play with this toy. My 10 year old helped me assemble the pieces. It isn’t hard, just  lots of pieces. 

We love the music! My daughter dances to it and knows her favorite already even though we’ve never watched the Netflix series. The drop chute is fun and the accessories are so cute. She loves the potty, probably because she’s potty training and is fun to see others do it too.

My only complaint is the back has cardboard inserts. They are flimsy, don’t stay in place, and get in the way of the elevator, but if you leave them out, items can fall out the back. 

All the same, we love it!
