Basically, we went on a US History vacation, and history denotes the past, thus, we were surrounded by dead people. Jeremy and I wondered why anyone would want a skull on their tombstone, even if it had wings. That just can't be good.
A shrine to John Hancock. I guess tradition back East says forget the flowers, put coins on graves/monuments to show your gratitude. Whoever first did it really started a trend, because there were pennies everywhere!
There were several more graveyards along our trip, but I couldn't bear to take pictures of all of them, so this will have to suffice. I'm sure you're disappointed.
