I received Twister Air from Hasbro Gaming through #Tryazon for free. I was really excited by the concept of this game, something that would be fun and get my family moving. I was mostly disappointed by the results.
It's recommended that you use a tablet or connect to the tv. The first time we tried it I tried to use my tablet, but apparently my tablet is too old and it wouldn't support the program. Then we cast it from a phone. This caused it to free and occasionally kick us out of the game completely. Later we tried it by connecting it directly to the tv and this solved the issue.
There are wrist and ankle bands. We were never able to connect with all 4. We only played with wrists. It's super touchy about being in EXACTLY the right spot to register that you're ready to play. The wrist bands were fairly loose on the adults, so imagine them on the children! They should be made with adjustable straps to loosen and tighten them.
The songs are fun. The moves aren't hard to figure out. It isn't made for kids under 8, but my almost 5 year old loves it. We'll try it again, but I don't anticipate it being a long term possession in our home.
