Redwoods

YOU KNOW HOW REDWOODS ARE REALLY REALLY TALL AND REALLY REALLY WIDE?

This is my first time seeing redwoods. It was in Big Basin, so not the same experience as Yosemite, but still pretty cool. I just hated the small, winding road we traveled to get there.

I love the moss!

Yet one more thing that is taller than I am. At least it is also wider!

We are just getting into this time period in my history class so I was excited to see the reference. Something I can share with my students, comparing the age of this tree and that era together.
