West Fest

Every year near the end of June we celebrate West Fest, when West Valley became a city. We fight crowds of people and millions of parked cars just to watch the fireworks. I'm too cheap to pay the ridiculous amount to actually go on the rides. I don't buy any of the food that is also ridiculously priced. Why fight all of this to watch 15 minutes of fireworks? One word, brought to you this week by Tevye and the Fiddler on the Roof: TRADITION!

(I didn't bring my tripod with me, thus the blurry images, but everyone loves fireworks, so I wanted to share anyway.)
